  1. Thanks for helping to clear up the confusion about the differences between workflow and Business Process Management. Pointing out some the OOTB limitations in SharePoint’s workflow functionality in relationship to Business Process Management was also valuable.
    What do you think of Adaptive’s ShareVis or some other third party solution to fill the gaps? (Full disclosure: I have no relationship to Adaptive beyond watching a webcast where they did a demo of ShareVis.)
    BTW: I enjoy this video series. Each one makes me re-evaluate my thinking.

  2. Hi Robert, just wondering if you can tell me the last bit of the Purpose paragrah of your text book ‘The SharePoint Shepherd’s Guide for End Users on page 127.

    It only shows partial sentences: If a column in your list proves to be unnecessary, you can remove it from the list altogether. An important thing to note, however, is that you can only remove certain columns. Default columns used by SharePoint, such as “Title,” “Created By,” “Modified By,” and “Modified” are special fields that cannot be removed. Columns that users have can always be removed, as can certain columns that
